Welcoming November...


A new month has started. October felt too short, but since when did time start permitting a moment more? Everything that has happened, good or bad, was just a phase, and with a new day, with a new month, we will experience things we may have never experienced or were scared of. But whatever comes will strengthen you for the future that is waiting for us with, God knows, how many surprises.

So, what we can do is just live in the moment. Don’t spend much time thinking about the past; let the past be past. And about the future — plan it, but not by draining the present. And whenever you think your life is getting harder, that everyone and everything is wrong, then remember: hardships are faced by the ones who can handle them. You’re the chosen one if anything bad happens. And if bad happens, then good always awaits.

And yeah, that’s it. I don’t really know what to say, so that’s all...

Once,
As a kid –
Was scared of nights.

Time flew fast,
But my voice couldn't fight.

The taunts –
I couldn't hush.
The scars –
I couldn't brush.

Still,
I kept myself straight,
Fighting everything that was just weight.

In the end –
I wasn't light.
Realised,
People were scarier than night.

Oh, how I must say,
The world wanted to play.

I searched through your eyes,
Trying everything to find
The fondness, the memories
We once wanted of a kind.

The moon,
If you look at,
Would look back—
Reminding you of that.

Feelings
Were not really expressed,
But the connection—
Don’t tell me you didn’t know that.

But no matter what I say,
The ray of hope
Left long ago.

Now,
It’s just me
And my sadness
Finding a way.

Pillow covers,
So light,
Pillow covers,
Won’t fright.

Pillow covers,
Just on the surface,
Stuff is hidden beneath,
The outlace.

Pillow covers,
Maybe loved,
But thrown away,
When they’re tucked.

Pillow covers,
Beautiful as night,
Would be kicked,
Just for sight.

Pillow covers,
Feelings tinkle,
Like cotton,
Might wrinkle.

Pillow covers,
Maybe pink,
But after time,
They may stink.

Pillow covers,
Would bite,
Be cautious,
Nightmares, right?

Easy to talk,
Once I thought.
Daydream it was,

Been long since I posted a poem so here it is



How pathetic I am,
I can't even sort out a fight,
Because I understand both of their sides.

Feelings of mine,
Torn like a vine.
I find myself foolish,
For being so confused.

I don’t know what to do,
A tangled metaphor.
Untangling seems endless,
With no common shore.




This one isn't that good I know it may lack a few things or need modification but it's original . I didn't write it as a poem to be shown but what I actually felt at some point and yeah so whatever it is.
