We are currently not posting any videos because we are all depressed and anxious with current situation in Bangladesh. We are originally from Bangladesh living in Canada. Now in Bangladesh what started as protest and stand against the quota system in Bangladesh by students have been escalated to mass murder and nationwide distress started by unhinged ruling government student political party called Chatro league and then government using law enforcement including police, BGB (Bangladesh Border Guard), RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) and Bangladesh Army to shoot on students protesting on road. There are lot of videos showing their brutality and firing on people protesting on road who does not hold any firearms. Even checking every corner, roof where someone can hide and shooting without any hesitation. Shooting on rooftops from flying helicopters. Small children playing on the roof got injured and died because of this!! At the beginning of the situation there are speeches given by government officials antagonizing the situation and later saying “there is shoot on site order for law enforcement officials” and now saying otherwise. Countless lives have been lost and thousands are injured. Even smalls kids did not get spared. As those videos are getting released in social media which contradicts what national TV channels were showing (controlled by government) the internet was cut down and all communications with world is shut down since Thursday July 18,2024. They imposed curfew and still it is on till date but with modified time. Still there are students taken out from there homes by police raids and even it was said that this will not happen. But there are televised speech from the head of state saying on 1st speech that they will be punished as their faces coming up on videos and TV’s which are actually being done now. Whatever happening right now is not a situation of a democratic country. Only a dictatorship does these and trying to control the narrative by disconnecting the general population from the world. You can find lots of brutal videos in social media posted by regular people nothing to do with politics and students where people in uniform or not on uniform hiding behind the law enforcement shooting and killing without mercy. If you watching news media from Bangladesh you will see complete different narrative as per instructions given to them, afraid to show the truth as they may be harmed. If you are reading this and are working with human rights please step forward and raise your voice against this. We do not care what political party wants benefit out of this but want these killings to be stopped and every individual responsible get proper punishment accordingly. Everyone knows who they are!!!! Don’t be just a name as human rights organization and raise your voice and save our future generations in Bangladesh……save our youth, our students!!!! These are some names of bright and brave students gave their life for this and there are more.

Mommy S went to Bangladesh and from there with her parents and siblings went to Saudi to perform Umrah. She did cook a lot for us which we could even finish half of it. But still Daddy S thought to try something….outcome is this. Kids were happy to eat it no matter how it was, probably it was not rice that’s why. Whatever it is, this one is made by Daddy S. now please don’t ask for the picture of the cooking pot….😅
