Dear Fans of the Awkward Abroad Project,

It’s been amazing to see this channel grow to 1800 subscribers and such an interest in real Chinese food. Your comments and community support have been phenomenal and now I’ll be remembered as the fried rice guy.

So as you’ve probably noticed I haven’t made any videos for months. I’ve been working on a new project discovering and sourcing the world’s best teas, right from the source of the very first tea trees. While sharing my tea with the world, I also want to show more of Chinese culture and customs, especially of the Blang ethnic group of southwest China.
