Hey everyone! Long time to talk! Just wanted to post an update post about the future of the channel moving forward!
As you can see, I haven't posted in over a month. In fact, for most of 2023, I've been very on and off with posting mashups. This has left me to reevaluate the state of the channel moving into the new year. Before anyone suspects this, I AM NOT QUITTING. I love making mashups for all of you guys, and would never wanna stop doing this. However, I do think I will be taking a new approach when it comes to the channel.
I feel like I have steered more into making mashups the people want to hear, such as making mashups with the latest songs, and less of what I wanna personally make. This, along with real-life obligations, has led me to make projects I am not as happy with. This, of course, has led me into creative burnout. Because of this, I knew there had to be a change.
While I still wanna make mashups for you all in a timely fashion, I think a more relaxed approach to uploads is the way to go. While normal two-song mashups will still be the norm, I want to start getting more experimental with it all. This means more diverse artists and songs, and maybe even video edits and special thumbnails! I really wanna start making mashups of songs I enjoy, and hopefully can share some music you haven't heard of! I feel like this is the next chapter in the channel, and could really help me break out of the creative rut I've been in.
Anyway, that's all for now. Already got some mashups in the works, so those will be happening soon! I'll see you all there!
Hey guys and Happy New Years Eve! Just wanted to give a quick update in regards to the 2022 year end. Every year I try to release my year ends around mid to late December. However, this year the production hasn’t been the smoothest. I can guarantee that it is still going to release, but I’m going to aim for a early-mid January release. I’d rather spend a little more time working on it than rushing it out and have not be as good as it could. Trust me, it’ll be worth it! That’s all, and I hope you look forward to the release!
Hey guys! So good news, one of my strikes has been redacted from the channel! This is really good and I’m gonna slowly start pumping out some new content for you guys! Although one of my strikes are gone, that does still mean that I have one remaining. So while I am gonna start uploading again, it’ll be with some caution until that second strike is removed. This basically means I’ll be posting content at a slower pace than usual, but it’s better than no content at all! So yeah, glad to be back and see you guys on the next upload!
Hey guys! So some bad news regarding the channel has come up recently. Due to some copyright issues, my channel has received 2 copyright strikes in the last couple of months. If you know anything about copyright on YouTube, if a channel receives 3 copyright strikes, it leads to the termination of that channel. Just to be safe, I'll be unlisting/deleting some mashups that might be at risk of copyright strikes. As much as I want to keep the content on this channel up, this is really the only option I have as of now. On top of this, I won't be uploading until at least one of these strikes has gone away. Luckily, the first strike expires in mid-November, so I'll hopefully be back as soon as you know it!
So what does this mean for the future of the channel? Of course, this setback will not slow me down with making mashups for you guys. I still plan on making a year-end this year, which will hopefully be ready by the time the strikes go away. I'm very upset about this information and I hope you all will understand. Thank you!
