Save the day (1.6.2025) In Loving Memory – One Year Remembrance of My Father
Today marks one year since our beloved father passed away. To honor his memory and accumulate merit on his behalf, our family held a Buddhist offering ceremony. We donated rice, cooking oil, medicines, drinking water, and monk accessories to the monks with sincere devotion.
As part of the ceremony, we also offered lunch and traditional sweets to the monks, wishing that these good deeds may help ease his journey in the cycle of rebirth. The monks kindly gave us Dhamma talks, sharing wisdom about impermanence, compassion, and the value of living mindfully—words that brought comfort to our hearts.
After the religious offerings, we welcomed relatives and friends to our home, where we served lunch and sweets in remembrance of him.
Though it has been a year, his love and presence remain deeply felt in our lives. We miss him dearly and continue to honor his memory with gratitude, love, and prayers.
May he find peace, and may his next existence be filled with light and liberation.
