Happy Holidays everyone! While 2021 has been difficult for all of us, YOUR support has been a beacon of light for myself and our team.
I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have followed our lessons through the years and to those who have just joined our community. Here's to a great 2022! 😁
My team and I will be taking the next few weeks off, so new lessons will start back up on January 7th with the release of our brand new course: Next Level Strumming.
If you'd like to see a recap of every lesson we released in 2021 (60 lessons) and a sneak peek of what's coming in 2022, click this link... Oh and please let us know what you'd like to see next year: rockclass101.com/help-plan-2022-curriculum
Hi Class! The team and I will be taking a couple weeks off for summer, but we didn't want to leave you empty handed. This month's live lesson tackles why the E chord is so hard to play on ukulele.
It goes without saying, this is a topic that folks ask for help with all the time. But I think it's cool to look at WHY it's hard, instead of just offering alternative fingerings.
P.S. We'll be back with NEW weekly ukulele lessons on Friday, July 30th. Class is dismissed! 😉
Happy Holidays everyone! While 2020 has been difficult for all of us, YOUR support has been a beacon of light for myself and our team.
I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have followed our lessons through the years and to those who have just joined our community. Here's to a great 2021! 😁
My team and I will be taking the next few weeks off, so new lessons will start back up on January 1st with one of the most beautiful songs ever written: Gymnopédie No. 1.
If you'd like to see a recap of every lesson we released in 2020 (Over 60 Lessons!) and a sneak peek of what's coming in 2021, click this link... Oh and please let us know what you'd like to see next year: rockclass101.com/help-plan-2021-curriculum
Happy Holidays everyone! 2019 was an incredible year for RC101 and it's all because of YOUR support! I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been following our lessons through the years and to those who have just joined our community. Here's to a great 2020!
P.S. My team and I will be taking the next two weeks off, so new lessons will start back up on January 3rd with the launch of our BRAND NEW COURSE: Natural & Artificial Harmonics.
This course will teach you 3 ways to create harmonics, culminating into a capstone performance piece on “Amazing Grace”. Which as you guessed, is played entirely using harmonics! It’s really cool! 😁
High class! Unfortunately, since returning from NAMM, I have been bedridden with the flu rendering me unable to complete a new ukulele lesson for this week. But with each passing day, my health is improving and I should definitely be able to release a new lesson next Friday!
In case you missed it, I gave away the $1,800 Kanile'a Ukulele today! Thanks to everyone who participated in the last 3 challenges (almost 250 of you). Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & stay tuned for a special end of year video coming out this Friday featuring @TaimaneMusic!
On Friday we released a new Ukulele Bluegrass Lesson! If you enjoyed learning the uke part on RC101, be sure to check out the U-Bass lesson on it over at Stephen's channel :) It'd be hilariously awesome if you leave a comment for him about those shades LOL
