Tried to lower the res and FPS on my camera to protect from heat this weekend while I was camping - Wont do that again. Apparently at 1080 it records at 24fps. I shouldve just stuck to 4k 60fps and kept the clips short. If you use an action cam, what do you film at generally? Do you have overheating problems when its super hot out?

I want to try and fire roll natural fibers, but first I need more practice just using cotton balls. This is actually much easier than other friction fire(sparkless) methods.

Id like to see a bow drill friction fire race? Who can bring 1 L of water to a boil the fastest from a friction fire? Fuel and tinder can be prepared ahead of time. 6 seconds seems fast, but in my last video I had solid smoke in 10 seconds. Im sure if I arranged everything right I could have a litre of water boiling in under 10 mins. How long do you think it would take you?
