If you’re reading this, I hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season!
I wanted to touch base to let everyone know what is going on in my life and also to address those who graciously donated handmade yarny goodness last year after Hurricane Helene. As you may remember, the first load went off without a hitch, but second load couldn’t be accepted as the need had been met for clothing and such. Anyway, I promised I would donate to a needy cause. So, just before Thanksgiving, these items were happily accepted by Our Fathers Ministry Storehouse here in my town. Anyone in need, can go there to worship, receive meals, clothing, counsel, and has been recently licensed as a women’s shelter.
As for me, I’m feeling much better than a year ago, Mr. C is recovering from a brutal chain saw accident. (Thankful he didn’t lose his foot. Big toe bone and tendon had to be repaired). If you know how involved he and I have been in other respects, you may understand my giddiness to spend this time of year with him all to myself! 😆

My local WalMart had these on clearance. Clearance tag marked $5 but rang up at $4. SCORE!!!
I got one to just try and see how the squares work up. Didn’t let my curiosity get the best of me when these granny square skeins first came out. Now I’ll try! Mr. C is rubbing off on me! 😂
