I learned peace and calm can be found in the quietness of buying, having or owning nothingā¦
But there is a stillness away from āstuffā
And the discussion of āstuffā which I think feels much more pure than a mere absence of belongingsā¦
It feels raw, real,and instinctively right. There is a serenity in that which I continue to explore. This is not just a way back to simple living but a looking glass for us allā¦
So we may reflect upon, what simple life was once upon a time and where it could arise once moreā¦
Simple steps on the forest path that leads us back to the natural worldā¦

For everyone in the comments of my recent video asking how they can help me with the hype button. But not being able to find it, thank you so much, thatās so sweet of you all š„°
The easiest way I know to do it is to keep your phone vertical with the comments half open. Where you see the share arrow you just slide that bar to the left. To reveal the shooting star icon. If you press the hype - shooting star, It helps push my video up the algorithm, even more than a like would. Although that is still much appreciated š„°
The hype has been made by YouTube to help smaller creators get more impact in the algorithm. Thank You to those that do this for me. I thought I better clarify for anyone confused about what I have said in Thursdays & Fridays videos this weekā¦
This channel will always remain a predominantly minimalist channel about minimalism. I was simply saying I am now factoring in more topics within that niche. It will not only be about minimalist home, decluttering and organising. It will also feature some minimalist lifestyle and simple living tips. I was trying to say that itās a positive. It may mean more videos on this channel as a result. I donāt intend for new topics to replace minimalist videos but rather be extra videos. I said I was doing this, as now my 2nd channel was to focus simply on travel. So I still wanted to be able to make home interior videos on this Sagelife channel.
Basically, consider the Sagelife channel about all things āhomeā along with minimalism. Then consider the Bare Necessities channel to be all things āAwayā. Such as, travel, nature, exploring and even home design around the world.
