I’m so thankful to be alive after that SUV crashed through the glass wall while I was just sitting there enjoying a meal. It’s changed my life in big ways. This has been really hard, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Right now, I’m dealing with migraines, headaches, nausea, muscle spasms, soreness, tightness all over, and some trouble moving around. But I’m grateful I’m still breathing, and that I didn’t lose any limbs or end up with worse harm. I can see, taste, hear, and talk that means everything.
Mentally, it’s been tough with nightmares and waking up soaked in sweat. I’ve put all my eating show plans on hold for now to focus on healing my body, mind, and spirit. I’m strong, and so are you.
If you’re reading this, remember: don’t put off what you want to do. The time is now there’s no better moment. Take good care of yourself and stay strong. I love you all.

Today, I joined @iampatrickblackwood and Chef Ivory Watkins from @cuveesculinarycreations for an interview with @sharronmelton1 at @cw39houston Houston.
Although we are dealing with muscle spasms, headaches, and tightness and soreness all over our body, we were able to do the interview.
The anchor was very pleasant, and we appreciate the fact that she gave us an opportunity to speak out about the incident the SUV running into the glass at Cuvees Culinary Creations during our Unrated EX Files eating show on August 16, 2025 especially given that we never received an apology from the woman who drove the SUV into the restaurant.
