Does anyone else feel like "finding your purpose" has become way harder for us than it was for people 2,000 years ago, or even 100 years ago!?
I've spent the last 5 years feeling stuck in my head, trying to just "think" my way into knowing what I should do with my life. I finally realized that we're fighting an uphill battle because of how we live today.
Basically, the more we're connected to our phones, the more we "blunt" the biological tools our brains actually need to feel motivated (going outside, exercising, socialising, etc...). We've traded real-life meaning for doomscrolling and shallowness, and it's making us feel more lost than we actually are.
I've been digging into some neuro-philosophy and Aristotle to figure out why this is happening and how to actually get out of that "stuck" feeling. I'm confident that the video coming out this Thursday will provide A LOT of value!
Until then, I have one question, how do you guys cope with the feeling of purposelessness?
