Video essays on culture and lived experience.
I’m interested in the things we carry, the systems we move through, and the quiet details that shape how we see the world.
New essays when they’re ready.

Something I kept returning to while researching this video was how often queer influence existed in plain sight while the people behind it were pushed into the margins, coded into performance, or forced into ambiguity.

American culture has long consumed queer aesthetics, language, performance, fashion, music, and artistry while pretending those influences emerged in isolation.
This video became less about visibility alone and more about influence, absorption, and the strange relationship between culture and acceptance.

Premiering Thursday at 6PM CST.

To every girl who was "mature for her age"...
We’ve all seen the memes about Eldest Daughter Syndrome—the overthinking, the perfectionism, the inability to just relax. But what if it isn’t just a personality type? What if you were actually trained to be this way?

In my new video essay, we’re looking at the real story behind the "Firstborn Daughter." We’re going beyond the tropes to talk about:

The "Invisible Job": Why eldest daughters have been the "backup parents" for centuries, from running households in the 1800s to managing the family calendar today.

The "Good Girl" Trap: How we’re taught that our only value is how much we can help, starting long before we even hit high school.

The Mother-Daughter Cycle: Why it feels so complicated to set boundaries with the woman who taught you how to survive in the first place.

The Cost of "Having It Together": Why being the "strong one" often means you’re the loneliest one in the room.

This isn't just a video about birth order. It’s a video about why you feel like the world will fall apart the second you stop holding it up.

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ if you’ve spent your life being the family’s "safety net."

Coming soon.
