Two years ago, I lost my daughter, my only child in a tragic car accident, a loss that changed my life forever. She was just 21 years old. In search of healing and a fresh start, I built a tiny house and traded the heat and humidity of Florida, for the beautiful mountains and snowy winters (at least sometimes--I'll take it!) of Eastern Tennessee. Here I am learning to rebuild my life one day at a time, and find joy in simplicity. Around here its all about tiny house living, peaceful country days, and creating a meaningful, joyful life after 60. Because its never too late to create the life that you want. From tiny house tours, heartfelt reflections, and everyday adventures, I'm sharing it all--the raw, the real and the beautiful. I hope this will be a space of healing, hope and new beginnings. Grab a cup of something hot (or cold), get comfy, and walk this next chapter with me.

Happy New Year! 🎊 I'm so thankful for each and every one of you. Praying God's blessings for all of us in 2026. PS. I don't think my baby wants me to work today. Since he's the man of the house, I should probably abide by that, don't you think? 😂
