I'm also feeling a bit guilty I didn't get it done in time to publish this weekend, but hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday! Usually I create a 10 minute video out of about 2 hours of footage...this video I'm working with 5 HOURS of footage and who knows how long it will be when I'm done editing everything to voiceover. It's the biggest project I did in 2023, can't wait for ya'll to see it!

Why haven’t I published a video in two months!? Well… if you don’t know, the last couple years I have been working my butt off renovating a lakehouse almost entirely by myself. At the end of November when I finished the hollow core door makeover, I was finally done! A wave of fatigue and burnout washed over me…and I was not prepared for it. I didn’t feel burnt out until the holidays approached, I slowed down, and I realized I seriously needed a break. Nobody can work all the time and these 12 minute videos do not adequately depict the countless hours of tedious, sometimes strenuous labor I’ve taken on to renovate the lakehouse. It’s super hard to stop publishing as a content creator; it feels like the more hours you work the more you gain traction, following, money, etc. It’s addicting. I also feel like I’m letting my core audience who enjoys watching every one of my videos down. I hope I haven’t let you down and that you are anxious and ready to see the whole lakehouse remodel revealed in one video! It’s edited to be pretty short so I’ve added a special q&a session at the end. The video drops THIS SUNDAY! Now - what questions do you have you want me to answer in the q&a?
