I recently got asked if I had turned to belly dancing because of my views dropping, the answer to that: no.
Belly dancing is something I've always had an interest in and planned on making videos for before the ban was even announced. You may be wondering then why do I lift/crop my clothes in recent videos. I want to state now that I dress for myself and my own enjoyment. I have never dressed or done a certain video for more views. I take suggestions and requests tho! In videos where I am bellydancing or doing more hip movement I like to lift my shirts slightly to show the movement more- also it the sun is frying me alive.😔

Reminder that ANYONE can be a victim of sexual violence, and ANYONE can commit such acts. Anyone of any gender or age can be assaulted, and anyone of any gender can assault.

"What were they wearing?" Clothes. Stripped naked or covered in cloth NO-ONE is "asking for it." Clothes and appearance are not the bloody problem. Everyone should be able to walk home safely at night. No-one should stand infront of the mirror and wonder if their outfit is "too revealing." There is no excuse for sexual violence. "I couldnt help myself-" If sapphic women can control themselves around other women wearing short skirts and tight shirts I dont see why you cant. If gay men can control themselves around other men who are shirtless then I dont see why you cant.

This is a topic I've wanted to address for awhile but have put it off, after this comment I finally am discussing it.

I recently got a comment on an old video asking about if I lived in the same area as another youtuber I've made videos with before. I personally move around and travel a fair bit but I do NOT share where I am or where I have been on the internet. I advise others to not share such information as well. Anything you put online can be put to use and can lead to harm to yourself or others around you. "But shift I only share the state/country I live in!" "I trust my community!" Its not just your community who sees your videos and such information can fall into the wrong hands very easily. I personally have refrained from filming or taking photos with certain youtubers who actively share areas they live in for my own safety. It is terrifyingly easy to work out where someone lives just by what they post.

Take this for example:
I had a friend who posted a video of himself in the uniform of the dojo he went to. I encouraged him to not post it or refilm it in a different outfit. He brushed off my concerns and warnings and posted it anyways. Not even a week later someone did very little research, just looked up the logo on his uniform and found not only the club he went to, but the town he lived in. He was later doxed on multiple platforms when the information spread. Extremely luckily no tragedies happened from this but it shows how easily someone can find you and your loved ones.

This said, take online safety SERIOUSLY. It doesn't matter how detailed the information you tell other people online is. Just wearing uniform of a club or sharing your state is enough to lead to very tragic events. For fello content creators or anyone across ANY social media platform.

So please, stop bloody posting where you live. You are risking the safety of yourself AND others.

It appears the ai meant to check if I am over or underage has decided I am of age and able to keep posting. So with that 2 quick updates:

1. Due to me assuming I would have my account deactivated I didnt bring my mask or filmed any videos beforehand. I may post some old videos I took down but there will be nothing new until around the 15th. So sorry for this I wish I brought my mask :c

2. Some may notice the chance in my channels name and handle. To those who know me irl, no I am not changing my name. However for my privacy and safety I am now going by shift/shifter ONLINE.
