DM's statement was altered to fit a timeline, one that also fits BK leaving his apartment, despite his phone utilizing cell towers that night. The pings don't mean shit.
The car LE states BK is driving around Linda Lane? That's the cop circling the area in the white undercover car, looking for underage drinkers at a known hotspot for underage drinking, which is 1122 King Rd.
This targeted attack happened earlier at night, but LE changed things to suit their narrative of BK being the killer.
Why?
Bc this case will remain in the court system until UoI completes it's 2024 enrollments. With BK locked up, the university can tell parents and prospective students that there is no monster preying on students and that Moscow is safe.
I'll also add that LE knows the town is safe and said as much at their first press conference. They know the killers are linked to local dealers, or cartels, & they want to send a message with this crime and have made their point loud and clear!
The Greek Row students who buy from them (and sell for them) will not be changing their supplier or snitching again anytime soon, so that being said, the killers won't be coming back.
Then the town's economy gets its annual injection of money from new and returning college kids paying for education, shopping in town, & making use of the restaurants, bars, and liquor stores; and everything returns back to "normal".
I predict when the academic year begins, the trial will be aborted, BK will be acquitted, or it will go ahead and he will be found not guilty. After which members from LE and the prosecutor's office all retired, BK gets a massive payoff~on the condition that he does not talk, and they all slip into obscurity.
We never find out the truth, the house is demolished, and the victims get their on campus memorial.
