All Indian seafarers and their families are humbly requested to take note that, pursuant to the orders passed by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court on the petitions filed by the affected families — *Dr. Amrita Singh, wife of deceased Chief Engineer Sanjay Chaudhary; Madhusudan Mishra, father of deceased Cadet Jatin Mishra; Shyam Kumar Mishra, father of deceased Seafarer Saurabh Kumar; Vinati Pandey, mother of deceased Oiler Saurav Pandey; Ashutosh Prajapati, brother of deceased Seafarer Santosh Prajapati; Taufiq Ahmad, brother of deceased Seafarer Touqeer Mohammad Rafiq; and Davinder Kumari, mother of deceased Captain Vivek Verma* — directions were issued on 21 April 2026 to the Enforcement Directorate to submit its response by 16 July 2026 regarding matters related to Recruitment and Placement Service License (RPSL) companies registered with the Directorate General of Shipping.
These matters concern cases in which the families of deceased Indian seafarers have still not received death compensation, insurance claims, SWFS, and SPFO funds.
You are requested that if you too have faced any kind of cheating, fraud, unfair deductions, withholding of compensation, or injustice by any RPSL company or by any officer of the Directorate General of Shipping, you should send your complaint as soon as possible to the Enforcement Directorate at: ed-del-rev@nic.in
It is possible that, along with the affected families, you may also receive justice.
