Sometimes in life we navigate things that change our perspective on the world around us.

Sometimes we achieve what we think the impossible.

Sometimes we fall in holes and feel that we may never, ever get back up.

Sometimes, we see through a different lens than the people around us.

Our experiences are what shapes us, they are what brings us to a greater understanding of self, of others and the world we live in.

We may live in the world and be not of it, or we can accept that the world is only a perception, and what we see is a mere reflection of the bubble inside the cosmos that is way greater than us.
✨
What we see, is not what another will see. How we adapt, or how resilient we are to change and life’s challenges are what becomes the story of our lives.
✨
Yet it’s just a story, and like any story, it has a beginning, a middle and an end, and because we are in control of the narrative, we can make, and be whatever the fuck we want to be.
✨
Never, ever give up on your dreams, because it is not all what it seems. A dream is just a dream, until we make it a reality.

In so much gratitude in advance, I'm Samira Wyld, a Spoken Word aRtist, poet, and songwriter, based in Brisbane, Australia. Writing has been my passion practically all my life, beginning with exercise book after exercise book of scribblings from the age of 8. By the time I was 11, I had my first call to fame hahaha, when my crazy, scary poem about Ted was published in the school Magazine. Poetry is where it all began and from around 17, I dabbled in songwriting. But... in those days we did not have access to social media and collaborations via video calls, so finding a real life musician in my hometown to collaborate with was near impossible.

My journey continued and morphed from poetry, to short story writing and then to novels, which of some have been published and are available on Amazon. As of 2017, I met my musical partner in crime, Peter Alan Edwards, living all the way in the UK and by 2018 we had released two singles and by 2020 the album ‘The Wyld Sessions’ was released into the world.

I love all things writing, music and live-streaming, and ultimately would love to give up the day job so I can focus all of my attention to my aRt. It’s a tough gig to make a living in the world of creativity, provide free content on all my socials, pay for website hosting, decent internet bandwidth to compose and create music, live-stream etc. By you joining my Patreon, it will help me get a little closer to reaching my goals of creating for you full time.
