One Sunday, after returning home from church, I was struck by a sudden and severe affliction. I found that I could not walk properly and my face had become distorted. Rather than turn to human solutions alone, I was led to seek divine intervention.

I went to Pastor Sunny for prayer. In a mighty demonstration of God's power, even as I approached his door, I felt a supernatural sensation, and I realized I was walking properly without a limp. Before now, there were many things I struggled to understand about life, purpose, and spiritual growth. But through the undiluted messages that Pastor Sonny consistently delivers, God has completely transformed me.
My mindset has changed.
My character has improved.
My spiritual life has grown deeper.
And the way I look at situations is no longer the same.

Your birthday is a most fitting occasion to express the profound gratitude and esteem that fills my heart. It is with great honor that I offer this tribute, a testament to the transformative work God has accomplished through your faithful ministry.

Five years ago, divine providence led me to your ministry through a simple Instagram post. Unbeknownst to me, this was the beginning of God's master plan for my life. I came seeking temporary help, unaware that my true need was for Jesus Christ Himself, from whom all help flows. I hoped for a prayer for strength to return to my old life, never imagining that what God had in store for me through your ministry was the fulfillment of a deep-seated longing I had carried since childhood.

My former existence was defined by worry, stress, anxiety, anger, bitterness, and poverty—a life lived under the shadow of the enemy, characterized by stealing, killing, and destroying. I knew no other way. Then, in a moment of divine power during my deliverance, the heaviness I had carried for 28 years vanished. In that instant, the reality of Jesus Christ became undeniably clear to me.

Driven by a newfound hunger, I immersed myself in your teachings, seeking to understand the revelation of God's Word that you so clearly expound. Through your ministry, my mind was renewed, and I was completely transformed. My life is now dedicated to studying the Word, prayer, and living in complete faith and submission to God.

I often reflect on where I would be without Christ's intervention, and I am eternally grateful that, by God's grace, I will never know. Following my deliverance, you demonstrated extraordinary pastoral care, checking on me, explaining spiritual truths, and answering every question with patience. You treated me as your own, and in doing so, you showed me a Christ-like love I had never before experienced from anyone.

You have remained consistent and steadfast in your character, a reliability that has been instrumental in healing my ability to trust. The hatred that once filled my heart has been replaced by a divine peace that enabled me to forgive, and the love I have received has taught me how to love others in return.

Today, I walk in a newfound wholeness. I am free from the need for external validation, empowered to love without limits, and blessed to be the parent to my children that I never had. I am now, proudly, a Christian—unashamed of the Gospel. Christ has turned my grave into a garden and my funeral into a celebration of new life.

I am born again, free from sin, curse, confusion, stagnation, and lack. All things have been made new. The joy, smiles, and laughter that now fill my life are a direct result of this salvation.

While I owe it all to Jesus Christ, I must honor you, the vessel He approved and anointed for such a time as this. Had you not been faithful to your own destiny in God, you could not have been entrusted with mine. I follow your guidance because I recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. On this special day, I honor you, my father. Thank you for your selfless dedication to God. Happy Birthday, and the Lord God grants you many more years of fruitfulness and grace.
