🌿 Community Post — “100 Subscribers! A Year in the Making”

💚 We did it — 100 subscribers!

When I first started Boggs Haven Farm, it was just to share what I’d learned about raising chickens and ducks together. I had so many people asking questions in real life — how to get them to coexist, what to feed them, what to watch for — that I figured it might help to put it all in one place. I also wanted to put music to my videos. So that's the reason most of my content is YouTube Shorts.

I never imagined it would grow into this. Over a year later, here we are — a little community of folks who care about the same simple joys: animals, nature, and everyday farm life. We have expanded to also include weekly acoustic guitar music, and plan to expand more in the coming months.

I’m so grateful for every one of you who’s watched, commented, liked, and supported this journey. It’s been such a joy sharing my world with you.

Today, I learned a harsh lesson. Galzinized steel pools sold by Tractor Supply have a coating on it that is poisonous to ducklings. I watched as three of my ducklings had seizures within minutes of drinking from the pool. We lost one duckling and the other two are in recovery. I plan on making an update through a Video in a couple of days.
