Unit: 1st Battalion, Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) — 1 PARA (SF).

Martyrdom: July 6, 2024, during a counter-terror operation in Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir.

The Act of Valor: During Operation Sindoor, Lance Naik Pradeep was the leading scout of a search party. He discovered a hidden terrorist hideout and, when under heavy fire, neutralized one terrorist. Despite being severely injured and losing a significant amount of blood, he continued to engage the enemy to protect his teammates.

Award: Posthumously awarded the Sena Medal (Gallantry) at the Army Day Parade in Jaipur on January 15, 2026.
