Howdy everybody!

This was a peculiar short today, as it was basically a clip from my "111 Winchester" animatic with some subtitles, but I kinda wanted to see if doing this would boost some of the views for the video proper. So basically see this as a sort of experiment. Besides, after having not posted for so long, I feel like I need to post something to make sure the algorithm remembers my channel exists. I hope by next week I'll actually get a proper short done, but we'll see.

Btw, thank you for all so so much for the birthday wishes and support on the new video! I'm so happy to have an audience like yours, you guys are really the best (and sorry for all the people I jump scared at midnight on April 26th, that was not intentional lol). Hope you all have a wonderful day!

(Also, if I take a bit to respond, I am probably dealing with exhaustion and achy-ness from my friend's wedding yesterday. Had a fantastic time, but being the maid of honor was a lot of work. Be sure to sure to leave some nice congratulatory comments for Emily and her husband in case she reads this.)

Hey everybody! I really hope you enjoyed the video, because I spent a LOT of time on it. This is like the longest time it has ever taken me to make one of these music animatics (mostly because of the backgrounds).

This video is actually set pretty early in the story, being the first encounter Olive has with Stalker and Bloom, and before she even properly meets Tony. This is actually Olive's first time even learning his name. Also, for the eagle-eyed lore heads, you might notice that this is where Olive finds the locket that is occasionally seen on her nightstand and conspiracy board. Olive goes on to basically use this house in the woods as her base of operations, since she learns fairly quickly that hiding her conspiracy board in her closet is pretty risky if her parents look through her room. Plus, it's got some other secrets that Olive has yet to uncover...

This video was incredibly rewarding to make, especially the action scenes, and I would very much appreciate you guys to share it around if you liked it. ! ! IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ! !

I'm gonna be going on hiatus for a bit, as the latest music animatic I've been working on has been very slow going and needs my full attention. That means no short tomorrow, and no shorts over the coming weeks. I am hoping to get the animatic done by the 26th in correlation with Olive's birthday, if everything goes according to plan, and even then it may take a bit for me to continue posting shorts regularly due to some big life events such as my brother's graduation and a friend's wedding. I am so sorry for the inconvenience, but I just want to make sure the video can get done on time without destroying my wrist or crunching myself.

Happy Easter, everybody!

At my church, we have a tradition called the Flowering of the Cross, where we cover a cross in flowers and plants to remind us how Jesus turned a symbol of death and pain into one of new life through his sacrifice and resurrection. 

So, I thought it would be fun to draw Olive and Zoe posing in front of an actual picture of my church's flowered cross! Totally didn't just use a picture because I hate drawing backgrounds, no siree. It was very nice drawing Olive being happy after what I put her through last short (and most shorts...). I imagine Virgo and Matt are taking the picture, just admiring how cute their girls are in their Sunday clothes. Virgo was a little sad that Olive was covering up her dress with her cardigan, but Olive is not wearing something that exposes her arms in public (even though her scars might actually be quite on brand, given the occasion).

AnywAys, I hope you enjoyed the shorT! Found thIs audio and it consumed my mind, sO I had to do something with it lest it eat me alive. UnfortuNately, the charaCter that the audio fit is tied up into a part of the plot I’ve yet to reveal, no matter how mucH it wants out. The Drake is dead.

At his height, he was the most feared and dangerous outlaw in all of the Valley. He left no witnesses alive, left no gold untouched, and left nothing but bloody bodies in his wake. He was the leader of the Lost Souls Gang, a group of vile criminals who served him as if he were an angry god. He rode on a Fossil the size of a train car and with the fire of hell in its maw. People thought he was untouchable before Hugo came along and did the unthinkable. He killed the Drake.

But the past doesn't like to stay dead, does it?

The Drake may be dead...

Hey everybody, hope you enjoyed the short!

Was a bit of a shorter one today, because although the "CARNIVAL" short did VERY well (thank you all so very much), it took a stupid long time to make. So I wanted to do something simpler for this week.

Finn's mom disappeared when he was a baby, only leaving behind a note explaining she didn't want to be found. Finn never even got to properly meet her, and her disappearance is the subject of many of the songs he wrote back in the city. While Garnet is furious at the Big Bad Wolf for taking her mother away, Finn isn't angry at his mother. He just can't comprehend why she would just leave him and his family behind without a word.

Maybe talking to somebody else with mommy issues can help them both.
