Silva's Small Mining

The “Bull Fire” just started!

It’s burning right behind the “Hawk Fire” burn scar.

It’s dry and windy today……..not good for firefighters.

Smoke from the “Bug Fire” wildfire.

7500 acres and 20% containment as of this posting.

We are under evacuation warning.

I got sprinklers setup on my roof. Just in case.

I found this box near the creek on my claims. It’s very old by the looks and condition.

Does anyone know what this is?

Have you ever heard of the “Treasure Emporium” before?

Do you think it’s worth rebuilding?

Let me know in the comments!!

Good gold hunting!

Stopped in the “Cold Rush Creamery and cafe” in Downieville, CA for a quick bite to eat before heading up to the claims.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone!

I have been thinking a lot about all my veteran friends and family. God bless you all for your service and dedication to our great nation.

Tim Fadda was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

I would love to be at the mine working, but even after 6 years, it still cuts into my heart what happened on that day. I’m afraid of falling apart up there all over again.

Every year it gets easier, but the pain is still there.
I can still hear Tim telling me, “Everything is gonna be alright Bob” and I take comfort in that, but I still miss that man with a passion.
I listen to the song “Silent Lucidity” by Queensrÿche and I think of Tim, I feel him. I know he’s watching over me. I just really miss him and wish he was here.

I thought about doing a video, finally talking about Tim and our relationship together, but even as I write this, I am shaking with nerves as I remember the past. I don’t think I’m ready for that yet.

Thank you all for your support.
I promise I will let you all know more about my amazing golden mentor Tim Fadda in the future.

Please check out my video content if you have some time. Thanks again and God Bless
