Manufactured Personas: Image often eclipses talent. Public relations teams and executives cultivate an artist's personal life, fashion, and social media presence to appeal to target demographics, effectively strip-mining their real identity for marketing value.

Relentless Exploitation & Burnout: Strict touring schedules, non-stop promotional campaigns, and constant content creation treat artists as churnable assets. The pressure to maintain relevance can lead to mental health crises and severe isolation.

Catalogue Buyouts: Even established icons sometimes sell their publishing rights or catalog ownership to private equity firms or legacy corporations for quick lump sums, trading long-term legacy control for immediate liquidity.
