“It’s good to talk”

I wasn’t sure if I’d have this ready for tomorrow night or not but it’s uploaded and ready to go.

Thursday 6pm for this trip into the highlands. Met up with ‪@MontyOutdoors‬ as we went a camp in the snow.

I wanted to yea this outting to focus on mental health. A subject we probably all at some point shy away from. As a result, I hope this video doesn’t trigger you in a bad way but maybe helps remind you that we’re all in this together and that it really is good to talk it out.

Happy new year everyone 🥳

First video of the year is coming this Thursday at 6pm. Starting the year off by ticking off a camp that’s been on the list for years. Always wanted to camp up here in perfect winter conditions and man did we get that. Joined by my regular partner in crime ‪@Gointothewildwithsteve‬ as we do sons snow building and of course, pan each others tents with snowballs.

Talking about last year too and things to look forward too for 2026 so lots in this one.

While we were up in the big smoke of Glasgow today doing some Christmas shopping I picked up a wee book which is a follow up on my post about goals for next year.

The Skye Trail has been on my wish list for a number of years so I’ve pencilled that in for next year. Anyone else fancied it?

We had ourselves an absolute banger of a night up at the Hydro last night at “Hoolie at the Hydro”

A brilliant Celebration of folk and Tradition Scottish music. Of course the highlight of the night was seeing Beluga Lagoon but the whole night was just fantastic.

It rained, then the winds got up, then we heard thunder followed by lightning. Definitely praying my next time off gives better weather but in all honestly, last nights camp was such a laugh.
