I'm Pete The Wargamer and on my channel you can find a whole host of kit bashing and painting guides for Warhammer and other wargaming miniature games. For Business Inquiries: management@blackfly.media
Hey folks, just a heads up that I'll be having a few weeks off soon so the video output will be slowing down a little bit over the next month or so. I have a video scheduled to go live tomorrow (18th) and my next will be in February (15th). I expect the normal releases to start up again in the first week of March. Feel free to leave me your ideas of what you would like to see me tackle!
If you're a channel member or patreon supporter you can watch my February video (where I convert yet another Titus mini) right now!
For my first video of the year, I've done my usual thing of taking a new GW release and building something completely different with it. The video on how I converted the Nightbringer into the "Black Angel" (essentially a Black Rage version of the Sanguinor) will be live next weekend.
BUT if you're a channel member or patreon supporter you can watch the full video, ad free right now!
My Trench Crusade rulebook just arrived from the Kickstarter! Now it's time to put it and the Stosstruppen to use in some future kitbashes. Let me know what you'd like to see me tackle.
As I wrap up the last few videos of the year, I want to hear your thoughts on what you'd most like me to focus on at the start of 2026. I've come up with a shortlist of ideas and I want you to help me pick which you'd most like to see me tackle. As always, if you have any suggestions outside of these, feel free to leave them down in the comments below!
Have you seen my latest Custom Tau Auxillary video yet? Well if you have, you may have noticed some new info cards popping up when I'm discussing what kit a part may have come from. I was getting a lot of questions about this so it was clear that the voice over alone wasn't enough to express this information.
If you have seen the video, let me know what you think and if you have any ideas on how else they could be used, let me know too! I'm considering adding them in to offer advice to often repeating techniques such as pinning and drybrushing. Just enough info to get beginners by but without breaking the flow of the video.
Happy Halloween to all you Ghosts and Ghoulies! If you're looking for something suitable for the night that's also extremely funny then check out Dave from @MSPaints latest video. It's incredibly well made and is definitely worth a watch.
I was sent a few paints from the new Mini Colour by @ArtisOpus and@cultofpaintso I thought I'd see how they work on my Raptors, and here is the result!
Everything you see on the model (except the base) was painted with the new Mini Colour range. I started out with Sangria over a black primer before building up several paints from the Warm Green Set.
A stand out for me was Sangria. I felt it reached a really nice level of vibrance over a black base coat without having to apply much at all.
I also used it mixed with their black to line the panels and it was incredibly smooth, as are all of the paints. Have you ever found a slight grittiness/lumpiness with some paints when you glaze with them? I didn't find that with these, they had much more consistent and predictable viscosity.
