I'm Pete The Wargamer and on my channel you can find a whole host of kit bashing and painting guides for Warhammer and other wargaming miniature games. For Business Inquiries: management@blackfly.media
We’ve finally been given a little peek at Games Workshop's vision of the Daemon Primarch, Perturabo. Until we see an official model, I thought I’d have a go at building my own. You can see exactly how I tackled my interpretation of the Iron Warriors' Primarch in the 41st Millennium in my next video, which goes live this Sunday!
BUT if you're a channel member or patreon supporter you can watch the full video, ad free right now!
It's less than a week until Salute 53 and for the first time ever I'll be attending as a trader!
Come find me at Stand TB02 on Saturday, 11th April at the ExCeL London. Hang a right after you've visited the Wargames Atlantic stand, head to the end of the row and say hello!
I’ll have plenty of Sorcerer's Spoils and Dead Animal Bits kits along with an event exclusive Pick 'N' Mix offer.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be at Chillcon Sheffield on March 21st & 22nd and I’ll be wearing two hats this weekend. I'll be chatting kitbashing as Pete the Wargamer and also running my Spare Parts Emporium stall.
So whether you want to talk kitbash techniques or pick up a box of Dead Animal Bits then come find me at H11 in the Traders Hall this weekend.
It's Sunday which means it's new video day! The full build and paint guide for my Inquisitor Lord Karamazov is live right now: https://youtu.be/6nLy2_jzJh0
The Crucible of Champions rules expansion is probably one of my favourite rules releases from GW in a very long time and I just couldn't resist putting them to the test. I’ve taken a Venerable Dreadnought, parts of Junith Eruita, a few Tempestus parts and sprinkled in a bit of sculpting to build my own, modern reimagining of Inquisitor Lord Karamazov. It was a quite the kitbashing project, but what I'm the happiest with is how that marble effect turned out.
Now, I need your help. The Crucible of Champions lets you build so many different archetypes that I want to hear from you what I should tackle next. Let me know your ideas for my next custom character down in the comments.
With the Sorcerer's Spoils kit now finding it's way into kitbashers hands around the world I can now turn my attention to my next "Spare Parts" kit. And this time, I need your help!
I design these kits for kitbashers so getting your feedback will prove invaluable in designing my third and future kits. So, to help streamline the process a little, I have put together a short Google form to collect your preferences and ideas which you can find here: forms.gle/qHKQvi2DVJ1onJEd7
If you can spare just a couple minutes of your time to help me out, I would be extremely grateful.
I've just had a restock of Dead Animal Bits and Sorcerer's Spoils so I thought I'd share some of the behind the scenes of getting your orders out. You might not know but everything bought through The Spare Parts Emporium webstore is shipped out by me and my wife Laura. As you can see, this is done right from our kitchen!
I also just want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and my range of hard plastic kitbashing components by picking up a box already. Every order supports me and helps me to grow the range even further!
If you haven't done so already, you can check out the kit over my webstore sparepartsemporium.com/ or over on Wargames Atlantic.
You can also pick them up in person in just a few weeks as I will be attending Chillcon on the 21-22 March and then Salute on the 11th April.
Hey folks, just a heads up that I'll be having a few weeks off soon so the video output will be slowing down a little bit over the next month or so. I have a video scheduled to go live tomorrow (18th) and my next will be in February (15th). I expect the normal releases to start up again in the first week of March. Feel free to leave me your ideas of what you would like to see me tackle!
If you're a channel member or patreon supporter you can watch my February video (where I convert yet another Titus mini) right now!
For my first video of the year, I've done my usual thing of taking a new GW release and building something completely different with it. The video on how I converted the Nightbringer into the "Black Angel" (essentially a Black Rage version of the Sanguinor) will be live next weekend.
