We came with opinions. We left with perspective.

The first edition of Kartavya Yuva Sansad gave us the opportunity to experience democracy beyond textbooks. We represented different viewpoints, raised questions, defended our arguments and, most importantly, learned to listen to those who disagreed with us.

The experience reminded us that democracy is not limited to voting. It grows through informed debate, patient deliberation and meaningful representation. A strong representative does not merely speak loudly—they study the issue, understand different interests and present their position with clarity and responsibility.

For us, this was more than a competition. It was a space to build confidence, practise public speaking, negotiate differences and understand how collective decisions take shape.

We are grateful to Tathastu ICS for creating a platform where students could question, participate and learn by doing.

The first edition may have concluded, but the conversations it started will continue.

Because responsible citizenship begins when young voices learn not only to speak—but also to listen, deliberate and represent.

Congratulations to Priyanshu Keshri on being named an Ambassador of the International Organization of Youth (IOY) for the 2026–27 term.

He has also received confirmation to participate in IYC14—the organisation’s 14th International Youth Conference—scheduled during UNGA81 High-Level Week and New York Climate Week.

What Happens When UPSC Aspirants Visit Parliament?

For most aspirants, Parliament begins in the pages of a polity textbook. For students of Tathastu ICS, it became a firsthand learning experience.

Under the MP LEAD Sankalp Fellowship, in collaboration with Smt. Aparajita Sarangi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, and former IAS officer, our students visited the Parliament of India to witness the institution at the heart of Indian democracy.

An opportunity to understand legislative processes, public representation and governance beyond the classroom.

Because future administrators must not only study institutions—they must understand how they function.

Students of Tathastu ICS Gurukul, Greater Noida stepped out of classrooms and into the fields for a spirited plantation drive — aligning with SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).

Yes, the shoes got muddy and the sun was strong, but so was the belief that every sapling is a step towards a sustainable tomorrow.
