I compost to include vermicompost. I collect rain water. I ferment, can, dehydrate, and freeze what I grow, and what I purchase. My Improved Meyers Lemon surprised me this year. It flowered, and set fruit last year. It held onto just a few. Today I harvested my very first Improved Meyers Lemons.
I plan to harvest the zest, and dry it for tea or seasoning. I think I might freeze the juice, and perhaps make a candied lemon out of the remains bits.
Have I thought of all the ways I can utilize my harvest?😁

Happy Belated Christmas. I hope Everyone has been enjoying family time, and taking time for your self to rest, and relax.
I’m taking a much needed break from making content. I will be posting some shorts I have saved up but my long length videos I’ve decided to not make until after New Year.
I’ll have some seed sowing, and garden looks when I return. Until then I’m spending time recharging. Enjoying some peace, and serenity.

I met a man that owns wait for it, a kangaroo.😳 I of course said how do you “own” a kangaroo? They are meant to be free.🤨 He told me he’s a family member. That he got him as a Joey and has owned him for years.
I google kangaroo manure and the garden.🤣
So I jumped on my next question question. I will soon have access to kangaroo manure for the garden.🤭
