Dicembre sottocosta: Ricciole, e una cernia in candela.

Con l’arrivo di dicembre il mare cambia radicalmente: l’acqua si raffredda in modo più deciso, la visibilità dipende fortemente dalle correnti e le abitudini dei pesci si modificano. È un periodo che può regalare grandi sorprese anche sottocosta, dove non è raro imbattersi in branchi di ricciole di dimensioni notevoli.
Allo stesso tempo vale la pena esplorare le secche più profonde, ambienti ideali per incontrare dentici e cernie in piena attività.

Novembre rappresenta uno dei periodi migliori per la pesca in apnea, soprattutto quando l’obiettivo sono i grandi predatori, favorendo la presenza di specie anche in zone medio-profonde e lungo le pareti sommerse, ideali con condizioni di onda lunga.

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐢

In questo periodo, le tecniche più efficaci comprendono l’agguato in profondità, la pesca lungo le pareti e l’aspetto nelle zone di passaggio dei predatori. I fondali variano generalmente tra i 6 e i 35 metri. La chiave del successo è una gestione precisa della discesa e dell’avvicinamento, mantenendo sempre controllo dell’assetto, lettura accurata del fondale e attenzione alla direzione delle correnti.

La pesca lungo le pareti risulta particolarmente fruttuosa in presenza di onda lunga, quando i predatori tendono a seguire le pareti rocciose alla ricerca di prede e rifugi naturali. In queste situazioni, movimenti lenti e silenziosi sono fondamentali per non spaventare il pesce.

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐚

Per affrontare fondali medio-profondi e lunghe distanze di tiro, si consigliano:

Arbalete da 120 cm, ideale per tiri lunghi e precisi.

Oleopneumatici da 130 cm, per maggiore penetrazione e agilità in profondità.

𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚

Per ottenere il massimo occultamento durante le immersioni, soprattutto in pesca lungo le pareti o con onda lunga, è fondamentale l’utilizzo di una muta mimetica 3D. Questo tipo di muta, grazie alle sue texture tridimensionali, si integra perfettamente con l’ambiente subacqueo, spezzando la sagoma del corpo e riducendo al minimo la percezione da parte dei predatori.

𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞

Tra le prede più frequenti a novembre troviamo ricciole, dotti, cernie e dentici, predatori che si avvicinano ai settori costieri e alle pareti sommerse alla ricerca di foraggio. La preparazione fisica, la conoscenza del fondale e la corretta lettura delle correnti e delle onde sono determinanti per il successo della battuta di pesca.

Ottobre rappresenta uno dei periodi migliori per la pesca in apnea mirata ai grandi predatori. Le condizioni del mare diventano più stabili, la temperatura dell’acqua diminuisce e i termoclini si abbassano, favorendo la presenza di specie pregiate anche in zone medio-profonde.

𝐋𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐮̀ 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐢
In questo periodo sono l’aspetto e l’agguato profondo, praticati su fondali compresi tra i 6 e i 35 metri, spesso in presenza di correnti sostenute. In queste condizioni è fondamentale una buona gestione della discesa e dell’avvicinamento alla tana o alla zona di passaggio del pesce, mantenendo sempre il massimo controllo dell’assetto e dell’apnea.

𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖: 𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙞 𝙜𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞, 𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙖 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙖 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙖

Con l’arrivo di settembre il mare cambia faccia: l’acqua inizia lentamente a raffreddarsi, la visibilità varia in base alle correnti e le abitudini dei pesci si trasformano. È il periodo perfetto per il sottocosta, dove spesso si incontrano branchi di cefali di dimensioni sorprendenti, ma anche per esplorare le secche più profonde, terreno di caccia per dentici e cernie.

𝙄𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖 𝙚 𝙡𝙖 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙖 𝙙𝙚𝙞 𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙞

Nelle prime ore del mattino ho scelto di iniziare la battuta vicino alla riva, tra gli scogli che degradano dolcemente. Qui i cefali, soprattutto i pinna gialla, si muovono compatti, sfruttando la schiuma e i frangenti per sentirsi protetti. Con qualche tuffo in agguato radente, ho intercettato un branco fitto che pascolava tranquillo sul fondo a 1-2 metri. La calma e la mimetizzazione sono state decisive: restando immobile e lasciando che i pesci si avvicinassero, ho potuto piazzare un tiro preciso.

Il risultato è stato sorprendente: una coppiola con cefali enormi, il più grande ben oltre i 3 kg. In pieno settembre, questi pesci offrono emozioni uniche e confermano quanto sia importante non trascurare il sottocosta in questo periodo.
