🎓Choosing your course after 12th can shape the direction of your entire career.

Humanities doesn’t have to mean only the conventional BA.

Commerce isn’t limited to B.Com or BBA.

PCB doesn’t automatically mean MBBS.

And PCM doesn’t mean you have to follow the usual engineering route.

The UK offers a much wider range of specialised courses and career pathways — but the real challenge is knowing which option makes sense for YOU.

In my latest video, “How to Choose the Right Course in the UK After 12th”, I break this down stream-by-stream:

📚 Humanities
📊 Commerce
🧬 Medical / PCB
⚙️ Non-Medical / PCM

We look at course options, university choices and career directions — and, most importantly, **how to think about choosing the right course based on your interests, strengths and future.**

Proof of Funds for UK Student Visa 💷— confused?

This is one of those parts of the UK study process where a small paperwork mistake can create a BIG problem.

So I’ve made a simple video breaking down:

💰 How much money do you need to show?
⏳ How long does the money need to be maintained?
🏦 What happens at the university/CAS stage?
🛂 What happens again when you apply for the visa?
📄 Why are universities so strict about bank statements?

One of the most important things to understand is that showing the required balance isn't enough.

The timing and maintenance of those funds matter too.

In the video, I’ve explained the entire process with a practical example so you can understand the 28-day requirement without getting lost in technical jargon.

If you're planning to study in the UK, save this one. You may need it when you're actually preparing your documents.

Choosing a UK university? Don’t start with rankings. 👀

One of the biggest mistakes students make is choosing a university because:

❌ “It’s Russell Group.”
❌ “Its ranking is high.”
❌ “The campus looks amazing.”
❌ “My friend studied there.”

But a university is **not just a brand. It’s an ecosystem.**

Before making your decision, I recommend looking at these **7 factors**:

1️⃣ Location
2️⃣ Course duration & tuition fees
3️⃣ Scholarships & financial assistance
4️⃣ Internship & placement opportunities
5️⃣ Alumni
6️⃣ Guest lecturers
7️⃣ Graduate outcomes

I’ve broken down each factor — plus a simple framework you can use to **research, analyse and compare universities** before making your final decision.

The best conversations are never started on camera. They are simply continued there.

A few years ago, Kainaat Kapoor and I were just two people sharing a theatre stage in college.
She was pursuing Psychology.
I was buried under Business Management—marketing, production, HR, finance... everything that explained how businesses work.
On paper, our worlds were different.

But after rehearsals, our conversations somehow always found the same destination- people.
I was always distracted by different questions.
Why do people work the way they do?
Why do we love?
Why do we fear?
Why do we follow?
Why do we buy?
What really makes us... us?

Psychology wasn't my subject. It was Kainaat's. Mine was curiosity.

Sales introduced me to persuasion. Books introduced me to philosophy. Psychology quietly connected the dots.

I realised something along the way:
Knowledge is an ocean. Information is everywhere. Wisdom lies in knowing what to catch and how to catch.

Kainaat never handed me answers. She taught me how to ask better questions.

Last week, after a year of planning, conversations, scheduling, revisions, and countless "we'll do it soon"s, we finally clicked Upload.

The conversations that once happened after rehearsals, over random phone calls, or after group hangouts now belong to everyone as a podcast.

If this episode helps even one person...
- understand themselves a little better,
- communicate with more empathy,
- question old beliefs,
- or simply become more curious about the human mind,
then every delayed recording, every retake, and every late-night edit was worth it.

Funny how life works.
Some people enter your life as college mates. Years later, they become conversations worth recording.

This isn't special because it's another upload.
It's special because it's proof that the conversations which once existed between two theatre students can one day become something worth sharing with the world.

Here's to the first of many.
The episode is finally live. I'd love to hear what resonates with you.
