Much needed quality time with my partner today. Using our club Lloyds cinema tickets (free) and drinking coffee (we've amassed a decent gift card balance via dodl referral offer)
Then we'll head to Gregg's and Krispie Kreme donut to pick up birthday rewards freebies haha. I download the apps solely for the birthday rewards. I've already had the free Costa cake. Worth a Google to see what free birthday rewards you can get!
I've mentioned previously that i did used to have a cinema subscription, and I found it to be well worth the money if you're someone who needs to find ways to get out the house without spending much. They often run deals during the year too for a cheaper annual pass. My last odeon pass worked out at Β£11 a month and I used to go once or twice a week to escape my horrible neighbours! I'm half considering renewing the subscription because it's also a very good long walk. I haven't been walking as much because my house doesn't have any parks nearby, so I need to start forcing myself a bit more!
Sometimes we don't feel like exercising but it nearly always makes us feel better doesn't it! Particularly if you're someone like me who spends too much time in his own head.
A final note: Financial anxiety doesn't necessarily stop even when you're in a comfortable position (it just lessens significantly ). I've had a large water bill recently courtesy of water leaks which has left me feeling a little fed up, BUT imagine not having an emergency fund?
Pretty crazy to see 100 videos uploaded on my channel. I don't produce masterpiece videos but I think I've done ok and as corny as it sounds, I am proud of myself.
You don't need 100k subs or 100k views to make a difference, just like you don't need to be the 'best' or the 'richest' or the 'best looking' to be able to provide value to others.
Thankyou to everyone who has ever left a like or a comment or subscribed or sent a donation π
I would say 'here's to the next 100 videos' but as I've said before: 1 video at a time...This approach to making content takes any self - imposed pressure off myself because I know I don't HAVE to make videos, because I'm not running a business.
I will make a video if: I have an urge to say/create something and enough people who care to watch.
I do have at least 2 more to come though as they're recorded already π
Got home and finished a script I had half started....because I felt like it. The video will feature my face as usual π
If you want to see what a professional setup looks like then it's two coffee tables mounted on top of each other whilst I read from teleprompter on laptop π
I'm suffering from indecision fatigue (reference my previous two videos if you don't have a clue what I'm on about) and it's burning me out. I find myself just staring into space, completely in my own head.
I'm pretty sure I've not posted my last ever video on this platform because that creative urge is still very much there, but I am crippled by indecision, so it really is going to take some time.
I'm on holiday for nearly all of January too so that raises questions as to whether I should post anything during that time or not. (If I feel like it, I may even film some travel footage but I'll just do what I feel like)
None of this will be good for the 'algorithm' but honestly, I've never actually had a strategy. I've just posted what I wanted to post and it always fell within somewhat of a niche.
I certainly don't want to be churning out content just to maintain a weekly upload schedule. It cannot be forced, I am not reliant on the money, I don't NEED the money.
How long will it take? I don't have a clue. Please email me if you have any questions, I do like to help people if I can!
No man is an island, we ALL need help and support.
P.s. currently enjoying day off in the sun drinking coffee in Costa (We have gift cards courtesy of a referral offer π).Don't underestimate referral offers, always a few quid to be made.
I've said this before though and it's worth saying again, YOU define what success is. When you start a YouTube channel there's always that next goal of x amount of subscribers but I've already succeeded in my eyes. Same goes for your job/career, gurus online will tell you that you can only win at life if you work for yourself or start a business, but that's not always true. There are multiple ways to attain contentment, money, inner peace. It all relies on self-awareness
I hope everyone is well. And I'll say it again. THANKYOU for every single comment. It means a lot to know I've had a positive influence on a few people out there
I had a nice frugal afternoon outing today. Reduced price carvery Β£6 (usually Β£11 at Stonehouse ) AND was purchased via a gift card which had 20 percent off.
I do like a carvery as always leave with a full stomach π
To Jonathan ... for having to subject him to my hideous house decor.
Jonathan has really upset me and has made me question all of my life choices, and I now realise that I need to update my decor tomorrow....because Jonathan said so.
If anyone wants to make an easy Β£50, maybe consider opening a Lloyds account via referral link, or if you already have Lloyds then try and refer a friend! π

Just wanted to quickly wish this guy a very merry Christmas. He's obviously having a pretty rough Xmas eve, so hopefully tomorrow is better for him.

Curious what I'm having for Xmas dinner....?
π Just kidding, I'll be heading to see family and having a feast.
On a serious note, I wouldn't actually care about having beans on toast, genuinely. All I want is a full belly and the people I love around me.
That's not to say I don't love the food at Christmas though, I think it's the best part!

To finish off , Greene king app currently has a free drink on there.
The point is: life sucks sometimes, so find the small wins, they are out there.

Oh wait, actually....I'll do as I please ππ
