Call of Duty When It Gets Dark: New video is out early for YouTube members and Patreon subscribers. The full video will release the 14th at 12:00PM CST.
Full script and different thumbnail variations on Patreon.
Reposted my "halo fans need to move on" video because it was age restricted a long time ago effectively killing any traction it had. Decided the entire time to not reupload because I thought it was a bad look but decided to say F it, it's my video and only 50k saw it. For that, I will say that I am going back into a direction with ideas that my channel used to do. I am starting with a more niche video idea, but I think it has potential. It will be exploring the Call of Duty Campaigns and when they get dark, after that I am going to aim at broader video ideas that hit larger topics.
(Text wall inbound) Okay videos have been failing HARD AF for these past few months. Think I’m going to shift back to stronger videos that are like those in my most popular.
My idea with the latest videos was to be able to find a good pool of ideas I can pull from that have success potential, and to do that consistently. One format that I thought was really going to work was my campaign vs campaign format as my World at War vs WWII did well. Had a large pool of content to pull from to make multiple videos but hasn’t held up as well as my first, most likely because of the strong comparison that vid had.
Basically, it’s really hard to strike success in niche COD content so I’m thinking of latching back onto broader or sometimes really strong niche ideas. I also want to tap back into my emotional side of videos and bring that more into COD, like how I did with most of my Halo vids. Just don’t want to feel like I’m rehashing old topics just for the sake of success.
However, I may try a separate channel (again) just to experiment and see if my niche content needs a niche audience built around it as this channel may be expecting different stuff. Just want to find what works and is good quality at the end of the day. Alright talk is over
Twitter peeps, I have a Twitter. It’s not very active, but I want to grow my presence on there and MAYBE get a bit more active. Go follow. If I get some eyes I’ll be sure to post much more.
I created a 2nd channel to experiment. I hid my COD4 Veteran Without Reloading, Equipment, or Streaks on my main and uploaded it to this new channel to see if it hits a different algorithm. I wasn't going to share so it could get views naturally, but in case anyone wants to see it or subscribe early here it is (please only click on the video if you intend on watching!): youtube.com/@WheezyChallenges
If this experiment doesn't perform then I will just make it public again on this channel
Video is going to be published tomorrow (probably around 3PM cst). It’s 50min being my longest vid ever.
It took a lot out of me and was an experimental video. If it does really well, then I’ll jump on another. If it does bad then I’ll conclude it there. If it does okay then I’ll probably make another in the future.
When it comes out make sure to let me know what you liked and didn’t like! I think there was many things I could’ve changed such as the pacing and what I show/don’t show.
Been extremely busy with college and life, but the new video is still being worked on. I've started chipping away at it a lot more and molding it into something that I think could work. Btw, it'd be a longer watch, the video is looking to be around 40-50 minutes long but will still be highly edited like my other videos so it's easier to digest.
It's definitely going to take some more time so this channel will still not have a vid out for a bit unless I go crazy one of these editing sessions. There's my update
my narrated script is completed (8890 words) and I will begin recording and compiling the video. It's going to be my longest video within a completely new format for me so may take some time. Also here's the preview of my new thumbnail for it (should be able to expand it)
Okay you guys have spoken, IF I experiment with new content I will try it on this channel. Here's a work in progress video for this new format. Emphasis on the work in progress. The title would be something along the lines of "Can You Beat Modern Warfare Without Reloading on Veteran?"
But that challenge may change to another game, I wanted to start in the CoD franchise because obviously I cover a lot of CoD content.
--YOUR INPUT-- Where I need your input is whether or not you guys want this kind of challenge video, or if I should do something different or if it sounds too boring yada yada. I also attached a thumbnail to give you a rough idea of it (it's cropped)

Might be behind the scenes stuff, talking about more topics, and an easier way to talk directly with me
