Amazing restaurant recommendation in the Borough Market area: Akara. I caught up with dear friend sis, Bunmí. And what a gem we found!
Think Nigeran and Senegale fusion with a Brazilian Twist. 10/10 👌🏽👌🏽Prompt service and excellent customer service.

The food was served relatively quick and although we were 'walk-ins', they were very accommodating. The flavours were 10 out 10, fresh products, well-seasoned with a bit of kick but not overly spicy. Everything was cooked to perfection.

Akara BBQ prawns served with beans puree and a small deep fried pea fritter accompanied with sosu kaani (Senegalese rich tomatoes & garlic sauce)
Pic 3 & 4 Main:
Efik rice (coconut and crayfish infused rice)
BBQ cod collar, moqueca (Brazilan seafood stew) and Swiss chard (leafy green vegetable related to beets, which tasted a bit like cress and coriander mixed together)
