- This is a personal channel where I express myself about video games. I simply want to share my thoughts and feelings on the games I play. My views are completely subjective and in no way, shape or form are my videos meant to inform or please an audience. I'm simply making this channel so I can express myself on video games and talk about them to my heart's content.

- In regards to how frequently I plan on uploading content.
I'm a very busy guy, so I don't intend on releasing content regularly. If I can manage I will be putting up one video per week tho I'd like to do more than one video a week. I can't promise this won't change since again, I'm up to my neck in work. Sometimes I might go an entire month or more without new content, it all depends on how busy I am outside of gaming.
Recording myself talking about games is the easy part, recording gameplay footage isn't a problem either but putting it all together with proper editing takes a lot of time and effort.

IT FINALLY SHIPPED!!!! I can't believe I'm going to own an original copy after all these years, I've only had bootlegs, god I am so excited. Delaying the NES video just to have it included in at least a few shots I don't care :D I'm so happy right now!

Guys I'd make individual game reviews, but I deleted all my game footage I had tbh because I just don't think most people watch those and I don't care to make long reivews and them ending up like the Visions of Mana one.

Here's what I've been plaing as of late
- Yooka Replaylee - I might review this as i still have footage but who knws when I'll finish it but god I adore this game
- F.I.S.T - finished it amazing but deleted all the footage I recorded, got bummed out and figured nobody woucl watch it, awesome game tho
- Bravely Default II - not recording this one, it's lovely, kinda mid but lovely
- Asura the Striker - 100% reviewing this one :D I am head over heels in love
- Yar's Rising - MIGHT reivew this but it's going to be a while who knows when i'l finish it. I LOVE IT
- Silent Hill F - I was going to review this, took too long, I low key dropped it meh mid game
- Lies of P - One of my absolute favorite souls like games bar none but I have to finish the DLC and then the game's ending yet, so i dunno when this will be done or if I have footage still, pure art this one

Well guys, I can't tell you when my NES video is coming as unlike C64 and Atari 2600 games NES games take much longer to play and I don't want to just post footage of the very first few levels of games. There are many many games from many different genres and while I am having a blast just playing NES in winter as I normally do and recording it al :) I can't say for sure when my next video is coming, because I want it all filmed well, from different angles and everything.
Regardless of when the NES video drops recording it is a blast

Today I finally started filming my "big" NES Video, it's going to take some time to film but this is the vibes you can expect, it will have both daytime and nighttime shots like the C64 one.
This time I'm going to talk all about the NES/Famicom/Famiclones and system's unique vibe, atmosphere, how it made me feel and what made it so amazing.

I don't know if my subs are getting notified of new uploads, but to all Atari 260 fans who subbed from the Atari video before, guys my Review for the 2600+ Pac Man Edition is out now, so hopefully if you want, you can check it out. If you end up enjoying the video leave comments and likes on the video itself to keep it alive for a while longer as the algorithm isn't sharing it well for now.

It's a highly detailed deep dive video, not some generic unboxing like others did for the system.

Here's all I cover in the review:

- My opinion of the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition in general

- Hooked it up to a CRT TV to see how it feels

- Tested it with Paddle Controllers with Tac-Scan and Solar Storm

- I discuss which Multi Carts works, which do not and why, most multi carts even menu based ones fortunately work

- I discuss or rather criticize the lack of an SD Card slot

- Since I have a huge library of Atari 2600 titles, I test the system with all kinds of games, some popular some very obscure like Postman, X'Mission and so on

- I discuss the Joysticks and D-Pad style controllers, their pros and cons and what each one is best for

They don't sell stand alone capture cards here and I don't want to always be tied to a PC when playing my games, so sadly I can't capture footage of all I play. Just want to say that today I finished Lunar 2 with the True Ending and it's another 10/10 game for me, both Lunar 1 SSC and 2 are pure perfection. If I had gameplay footage I would have reviewed both as one :) such incredible, simple, beautiful games. I played Lunar 1 on PS1 originally and finished it, but every copy of 2 sold in my country at the time would freeze up at the same spot so this was my first time playing it fully. I decided to replay Lunar 1 as well since it's been over 20 years and both were just too good. What an amazing summer this was.

The Atari 2600 video got me over 100 subs, I did not see that coming.
So I'd like to make a bit of an announcement to everyone who is new here and let you all know how things are going from here on out.
This is a general gaming channel and not just a retro gaming channel. So, folks, while I am working on my next big video for retro games, specifically VFD games that video as I said before is going to take a long time to film, especially because I haven't received my TEMU turntables yet :) So to those of you who joined for retro gaming content, more retro gaming content is coming but in the meantime, since I play both retro and modern games equally I will be releasing one or two videos on Clair Obscur an incredible RPG I recently finished.
Just letting everyone know that the nature of my channel is like that, a mix of old and new so don't get discouraged, retro content is coming :)
Here are a few screenshots to tie you over.

Literally filming 3 videos at the same time these past 3 weeks, but I think it's going to be worth it when they're all done. The Atari 2600 one should come first, then the VFD one but for that I'm again waiting on some turntables from temu and that arcade video I've been filming since the beginning of July is still cooking because I'm waiting for an Egret II cart to arrive. When I film my videos I also play games and enjoy the atmosphere, god I've felt like I'm back in the 80's all summer long thanks to these 3 videos. Hope you all enjoy them when they eventually drop.

Hey everyone, we need to talk about low view videos on my channel. I assume someone from my subs was trying to help and I appreciate the sentiment, but guys, youtube is weird, let me explain.
If a video has a low viewcount, leave it be, watch it in its entirety for yourself and maybe share it with people who might be interested in the subject but do not try to artificially boost views. I believe/assume someone has been trying to help my Visions of Mana review get more views and for three days straight youtube resets it back to 277 views, just as it is about to hit 300. They reset it back to 277, removing the extra watch hours too. This tells me that the views it kept receiving past 277 were "fake", but they did tank the video's AVD from 16-20% down to 12%. Youtube, being the vile corpo that it is will remove the "fake" views and watch hours, but not restore the lost retention from such views. Either way, we shouldn't mess with views because views alone don't help and if a video is just being opened and closed over and over it only serves to harm it. Multiple views from the same IP don't count either, even VPNs don't help as youtube has strong fingerprinting systems in place. Viewcounts are the way they are on videos and it's best to leave them be as they are.
I knew Visions of Mana would get low views before I made the review and that's ok, I ordered other Reviews for the game by date and pretty much all reviews not made in the first month or two after release had less than 1k views, so it is what it is, I played the game and figured why not review it since I was already playing it on PC where I could also record gameplay all the time anyway :)

Finally! The Psyvariar 2 video is live! I hope you all enjoy it.
To keep youtube' algorithm happy, please like, comment on the video and if you guys have anywhere to share it (only in gaming and shmup circles otherwise it would hurt the video) do so. I want to spread the word for Psyvariar 2

In my next review I'm going to try and pretend that I know how to play one of my favorite shmups of all time and see if I can give you guys an overview of some of the mechanics, as much as I understand it myself because even after 20 years I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing in this one but I love it all the same. Probably not a game that would draw many viewers from youtube's godawful algorithm and recommendations but I've been wanting to review this for decades now.
I don't know when the review is coming honestly, as I've said before I can't do this weekly or regularly but hey, it's being worked on so that's something :)
