IBF minimumweight champion Pedro Taduran will put his title on the line for the third time when he faces Mexican challenger Gustavo Perez on April 3 at the Pechanga Casino and Resort in California.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has begun its initial evaluation into the game-fixing allegations raised by professional boxing trainer Jayson Casimero following the loss of his brother, former world champion John Riel Casimero, to Kameda in October last year.
The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) has formally endorsed the complaint to the NBI for a thorough and impartial investigation.
Authorities have not released further details at this time, as the evaluation process is still in its early stages.
