The new funding will improve WASH services and ensure clean cooking fuel (LPG) — helping more than 420,000 refugees and the host community in Cox’s Bazar 🇧🇩.

International Migrants Day is a significant day for Bangladesh. In the last 50 years over 14 million Bangladesh nationals have gone abroad, and these migrants have remitted over 270 billion US dollars back to the country.


IOM continues to support the Government of Bangladesh to view migration holistically and strategically. On this International Migrants Day, and every day, IOM reaffirms its commitment to promoting a humane and orderly management of migration for the benefit of all.
