Sorry for not posting lately but I haven't been well for the last couple of months. I had a very bad gallbladder attack which lead to hospitalization and removal of a very infected gallbladder. A few weeks later after I had been released from the hospital for that I got really sick again and this time it was a gallstone they did not catch earlier that was blocking one of my bile ducts and lead to another hospitalization and another surgery to remove it and place a stent in to help the bile duct stay open. I'm home now but still not feeling super great while trying to recover.

If you seen my last Shorts post you would have seen we have a new dog. She (no collar or identification) just showed up at our house a few weeks ago before some very bad weather and a major cold front come through and we have been trying to find out if she belonged to anyone by asking around and posting on Facebook but no one has claimed her. We have been taking care of her and eventually named her Lilly. She's not very good around other animals or people so we are trying to train her to be less aggressive but she loves us. It seems we have gained another to our pet family.

Yesterday one of our older kittens, Sparky, passed away. 😢😔

Well so far today I slipped and fell, reinjuring my bad knee and lower back. Took some pain meds and taking it easy for the rest of the day trying to feel better.

How is the weather like where you're from? Here its been in the low 70s for a few days and partly cloudy but tomorrow a cold front is coming in bringing some storms and lowering the temps back into the 50s in the afternoon. Seems like Spring will never get here. ☹️
