resinAce is your inspirational channel for all kinds of resin crafting projects, featuring many unique and original ideas from beginner level to advanced. I specialise in clear casting epoxy resin, but also use UV, polyester and polyurethane, with a wide variety of dyes, pigments, powders and embeds.
I love to produce videos that are as informative as they are interesting to watch, with a view to encouraging others to take up the hobby and have a go. I try to produce most of my crafts using basic tools and equipment that most people will have access to, although I will also demonstrate specialist processes when the project demands it.
Update: I am currently on a break from YouTube due to personal circumstances. I hope to return at some point in the future :)

These are some crazy times! The UK is on lock-down with no end in sight, I've run out of resin, my supplier has run out of resin, the craft stores are closed, Amazon Prime delivery is 4 weeks, the postal service is taking forever... I can't promise to upload regular videos throughout this time but if you miss watching videos of my hands making things (combined with really bad jokes) then I've uploaded a few old videos to TikTok for your viewing pleasure. New channel art... finally! When I first created my YouTube channel I just purchased a stock image for my channel art as a temporary placeholder until I had chance to make one of my own. Some 18 months later I FINALLY have an image that I think is worthy of channel art status 😁 My alcohol ink clock received many compliments so thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on it, I really appreciate it 👍 If you watch YouTube on a mobile device you only ever see the mid-section of the whole art, so here it is in full 😎♠

Channel update 26th October 2019: It's been a great day here in the crafting cave! The one and only Jack Storms himself commented on my Chroma cube video, which was a real treat to see when I came across it in my inbox 😊 I'm currently working on a new video inspired by another world famous artist, so sit tight for that one coming soon!

These bumper packs of epoxy pigments have started appearing on Amazon, but are they any good? Well sit tight, because I will be testing every single one of the DecorRom pigments from the Mica Powder, Glow Powder and Liquid Pigment packs real soon! I hope you enjoyed my latest video, in which I cheekily commented that the bottle cap coaster was so easy to make that I could do it blindfolded 😂 Well that was a reference to a particular challenge that I took part in at the beginning of the year, in which I actually DID do this project blindfolded, but thanks to the actions of some very stupid and irresponsible people across the globe, the video didn't stay published for very long.
