One whole year. Already. I really don't know what to say. I want you to be here. I want you to be able to see the positive impact you've had on so, so, so many people. I wanted you to have your birthday concert that you were so excited to host. But these are just mere wants. I can't change the past. I can't rewrite your story to make it so you weren't put through those tough times, and that alone is enough to make me sob. I'm so sorry, Liam. Im sorry that we weren't enough. I'm so so so sorry. I'm sorry that you felt like you had to go through it alone. You deserved better. You deserve to live. I'm absolutely shattered because I wasn't a part of your journey, I wish that I had known about you sooner, Li. I wish. It's unbelievably hard for me to be writing this to you, knowing that you will forever be asleep.

Nonetheless, I want to remember as the amazing human you were. I want to remember you as the wonderful guy who loved his family, friends, and fans. We will keep the memories you left with us, and we'll fight for you and your legacy. We all know that you'll be watching over us, Kate, Bear, and everyone you loved. We'll take care of Haz, Lou, Zayn, and Niall. We'll never forget you. Your legacy will live on through your music, your friendships, your family, and your fans.

Rest easy, Liam. You we're much MUCH more to us than just a "music artist." It's going to be hard not to say months anymore. Even writing this in past tense is making me tear up tbh.
