That is TONIGHT, Friday the 9th of August... I keep forgetting to post on the community spot early in the week, so forgive me!!! :D ... Tonight will be Part II of the stream on Songwriting. If you missed the first one, it was last week. Not saying that you will be a professional songwriter after listening to this... But at least you will be able to debate the topic from a different standpoint...

#AboxTrivia: The Cerwin Vega HED 15s were in fact, my very first 'studio monitors'. I used to mix as though I were in a live club. And they sounded like it. I miss that room... I need to construct a new room like that. Stat! But meanwhile... I will play a few tracks from that era that I have on hand... Demos if you will. The topic is... Well, we will see now, won't we?? 😉

I am cleaning up the studio as the mess I made this week has really overtaken it. Working on the 12" remixes for Hope / Worth and new art, plus a new album has been the bane of my existence this week! I have been at it as never before. And... I have shows coming up. So the 2023 Tour Schedule is still active. But all of this means diddly without your presence in my life, my AboxFam. I want to hear from you tonight. I want to know what's happening in your lives! Tomorrow night at 8PM, I will once again revisit those tracks which I myself do not like to play out or listen to. Why? Because back in 2020 for fun, I did a Quaranstream about this, and now in 2023 I'm always asked what my least favorite Abox songs are and why... So. I figured it might be fun to not only play them but see if my 2023 mind differs from that of my 2020 counterpart. That... And the topic of failures, 2nd printing of Hope 30, and other news...

So today, I will be examining a rehearsal tape from 1987-1988 (there's no date on it). Curiously though, it also survived a flood. I will play some of its content this Friday. I am going to clean it up some after this post... Stream: Friday 07.28.2023 8PM Pacific.
