Özhan Öztürk | Writer and Researcher
I explore humanity, science, culture, and our past through the intersection of my studies in dentistry, history, and philosophy.
On this channel, you’ll find videos about evolution, genetics, human history, history, mythology, and culture. My goal is to approach the past not merely with curiosity, but with a scientific and critical perspective—to question what we think we know while pursuing new questions.
My published works on the Black Sea, history, and mythology include the Encyclopedic Dictionary of the Black Sea, Dictionary of Folklore and Mythology, Pontus: The Ethnic and Political History of the Black Sea, and World Mythology.
Understanding the past correctly is the key to interpreting the present, and understanding the present is the key to building the future.
