One year ago today, I did one of the hardest things I’ve ever done - I left my corporate accounting job.
For nearly nine years I had been running Caribbean Breeze Travel on the side and working every spare minute. But I reached a point where I knew it deserved my full attention… and I wanted to spend my life doing something I truly loved.
This picture was taken late at night on my very first day of running Caribbean Breeze Travel full-time at my new desk. I remember sitting there excited… but also scared.
Because, what if?
What if it doesn’t work out?
What if the industry slows down?
What about health insurance?
What about stability?
But fast-forward one year… and I can confidently say it was the best decision I have ever made.
This past year has been nothing short of incredible!
I’ve had the opportunity to:
- Sail on seven cruises
- Fly to Celebration Key with Carnival leadership for the Grand Opening
- Sit down with Carnival leadership
- Tour the Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Silversea corporate offices, and meet with the leadership
- Explore new ships, attend ship visits, and connect with industry partners
- And most importantly… help YOU plan unforgettable cruises with the best service and perks possible!
Every milestone, every opportunity, every moment this past year has been because you trusted me with your vacations!
So thank you, truly, for supporting me, for believing in Caribbean Breeze Travel, and for allowing me to live a dream I chased for nearly a decade!
