I share vlogs, tips, tricks, product reviews, and honest moments from my life with dogs and kids—to help you live your best Busy Life with your dog.
I’m also the author of the children’s book Joy Lost Her Toy, written in memory of our sweet pup Joy.
My personal mission is to help everyday dog owners raise well-behaved dogs without needing to become professional trainers. I’ve lived with the heartbreak caused by bad advice and outdated training myths. My goal is to shed light and help others avoid that pain.
I’m Jena, a busy homeschool mom of 4. I live with two dogs, two cats, and chronic illness. I’m currently exploring other service dog options after Clover flunked out. We keep things real here.

I think I tired the dogs out — and I did all the heavy lifting!
After a long stretch of survival mode, I finally tackled a big project this week: deep cleaning the room that had become the clutter-catch-all of my life.
🐾 Clover was my emotional support during the chaos, and now she’s out cold.

This one was hard to share.
After Clover’s last heat, I knew something had to change. The barking, the tension, the stress — it was affecting everyone, especially Hannah.
It wasn’t an easy choice, but it’s to bring peace and balance back into our home.

Clover was spayed two days ago, and she’s doing beautifully. 💕
The first day, she was pretty out of it, but she’s slowly getting more alert — and a little too eager to play and jump on the bed! The hard truth is that she needs to rest and heal right now, so we’re working hard to keep her calm.
She’ll need about 10–14 days before she can use the stairs to the backyard or get back to her normal routine. Until then, it’s lots of crate time, gentle leash walks, and extra snuggles with us.
The kids and I even made her some special frozen treats and Kong fillings to help beat the boredom — she loves them! 🍎🫐
We can already tell keeping her still is going to be the toughest part, but she’s doing great.
I’ll share more updates (and probably some cute photos!) on next week’s livestream. Stay tuned. 🐾💜
