In this work, we have unleashed the "immutable structure" and "harmony of colors" that Paul Cézanne, the father of modern painting, explored throughout his life, into the "time" of the modern era using the latest AI video technology.
The light of Provence, the austere presence of Mont Sainte-Victoire, and the breath of a woman touching the earth.
The fragments of geometric color etched onto the canvas catch the wind, harbor life, and begin to move.
【In Homage to the Master, Paul Cézanne】
"Treat nature by means of the cylinder, the sphere, the cone."
These words left by Cézanne profoundly influenced later artists like Picasso and Matisse, opening the doors to modern art. Seeking to find the "eternal essence" within nature under shifting light, he poured his soul into every stroke, developing his unique, constructive brushwork (tache).
In creating this work, we offer our deepest gratitude and respect to the landscapes of Provence he loved and the passion he poured into his canvases.
If he had the technology of today, how would he have depicted this "moving, multi-perspective vision"?
This work is a prayer, woven with a modern interpretation, continuing the "eternal moment" he surely envisioned.
