Felt good to get back on the water yesterday with my best friend ‪@ExtremeOutdoorsmen‬

Because of my work schedule I have not fished in over a month. Felt good to fish an inland lake close to house and the first fish of the day was this nice smallie that hit my pink Zoom spook Jr.

The bass were crushing the pink walking bait yesterday morning.

When I started this journey 5 years ago I never would have imaged how big the Blue Jay’s Outdoors community was going to be. I certainly wouldn’t have guessed that I would end up being “The Pink Guy.”

Together we have created a safe place where people can come and learn from each other and a place free of judgment and bullying.

Recently there have been a handful of people that have tried to bully me and put me down for supporting the pink. Not sure what these people are going through but if you need someone to talk to, send me a DM. Let’s talk. Trying to make fun of me or bully me for wearing and fishing with pink is only going to make you look foolish.

To the 45k people that support the Blue Jay’s Outdoors community, thank you for your positivity and your support.

There is no reason why anyone should leave a comment like this on anyone’s content. People like this might be going through a rough patch and their only solitude is to try and put other people down from the safety of their phone or computer. When I get comments like this, I take the high road and thank the person for their support and wish them the best of luck. Did I handle this in the correct way? How would you have responded?

Big shoutout to Bobby Lane for helping develop this frog. Super soft and tough body. Hook angle out of the package is great.

An all round great frog for sure. Now, if it only came standard in pink. 😁

Still an absolute awe with this big post spawn smallie that I caught a few weeks back up in Northern Michigan.

This fish came on the third cast of the first day and hit a pink ‪@berkleyfishing‬ slobberknocker.

Also, yes that is 65lb pink python ‪@beyond‬ you see on this bait. I throw this bait in some nasty cover/structure where not only bass live but pike and bowfin as well.

Do you think this heavy of braid is overkill?
