If I don't get to 1000 subscribers by the end of next year, I'll accept that it's not gonna happen for me and go back to making stuff extremely occasionally. Until then? I'm gonna give it my all.
Sadly, the album is bad in an uninteresting I-feel-nothing way, which means I'm doing this instead of working on the end to a hypothetical trilogy. Lifetimes is an okay housy dayclub thing, All the Love reminds me of deadmau5 at his most mainstream, JID's verse on Artificial is probably one of two high points of the whole thing (21 Savage couldn't even pretend to try here and honestly, fair). High point number two is Wonder, which I genuinely really like. It makes me remember that Katy Perry has made really good songs, the weed line is a little off-putting because God forbid she makes a song that's good without any caveats, but it's the only track here I see myself coming back to even a week from now (Also the only song with no Luke credit, funny that, it's almost like he's not actually had the juice for a long time). Lowlights are Crush's Suno-ass lyrics, the laziest possible Gypsy Woman interpolation on I'm He's, Him's I's, and the rest of it not mentioned above! I'd give the album 1 + 4 - 3 out of 10. Which is a very generous 2.
The reason I stopped posting stuff is I'm busy with a full-time course and rehearsals for a play that are going to be close to the end at roughly the same time. The huge workload and general feeling burnt out and bad means no spare time to write or film or edit, and that's probably going to continue until the end of September. Hopefully I can get a short thing out early September and then I'm gonna have to put my head down again.
