"A 40-year-old male patient was admitted to a private hospital with sudden quadriplegia due to a brain infarct. He was intubated and put on a ventilator with inotropic support, indicating a critical condition and a poor prognosis.
Facing financial constraints, the patient's relatives searched for an institution offering affordable and quality care. Simultaneously, Anand Home Care Health Services received a call for help from the relatives.
Dr. Akshay Suryawanshi, from Anand Home Care Health Services, proactively assisted the relatives in finding an affordable care facility. He recommended transferring the patient to Kamothe MGM Hospital, where treatment was available under a government scheme, ensuring the best care possible.
Anand Home Care Health Services facilitated a free-of-cost cardiac ambulance from Meera Bahinder to Kamothe, covering an expense of approximately Rs. 11,000, and successfully transferred the patient to Kamothe MGM Hospital.
Despite initial challenges, the patient was admitted to Kamothe MGM Hospital. There, he received care from the Neuro department and underwent physiotherapy. After around two months of treatment, the patient's condition improved significantly. He was able to return home with renewed hope, all thanks to the invaluable support provided by Anand Home Care Health Services.
