Letting My Heart Speak 🌻 Hello everyone, Midna Waiting on You recently hit 200k views. And that's an unfamable number of people to see your work. That's more than any football stadium. And I'm very thankful for that. But it makes me wonder if I'll ever surpass that video one day. I don't need to. I'm frankly happy when a video gets seen by a few hundred people. That's still so many people. And a lot of this success came from YouTube showing it to the right people. But waking up with 17k views and a ton of people's kind comments on New Year's is a memory I'll hold forever. Since it's proof that people would care. But what am I doing now -_-
I decided to chase the dream of becoming a splendid artist and animator since High School. Even though I know I have made it so far from where I started. It feels like I'm nowhere near close enough to my peer and the level I want to be. That nagging feeling that I should have been further by now has haunted me. And the only person who can change that is me.
I have a few plans on how I want to improve my life and what to create, but I'll update you once I go through with it. I would rather have results speak instead of words. It's the 2nd Anniversary of Amalia Roth, a character I designed for a story back in college. But she kind of ended up becoming my social media profile for two years, so I thought it was about time for an update. I included the original Amalia art from 2023.
Hello friends 🌻 Some updates, but also, today is my birthday, and I doodle Midna and Navi having cake together. Thanks again to whoever is reading this. I have to admit that having that Midna video blow-up was a really exciting part of last year. I can't say I can make art fast. But I'll create what I like. A new small Midna video is almost done. Just waiting on some finishing touches. Hopefully, it will be out in a few days. Last, I re-exported my Midna Waiting on You video in 4K. The assets are still made in 720p, but YouTube compression really kills it. So enjoy a clearer image and some fixes. Hello everyone 💛 I Never would have expected my little 40 sub channel will be seen by so many friendly faces. Especially for an old game I like. I'm really glad so many people tuned in and enjoyed it. Only just recently, I was really happy when my video hit 2k views after the first two weeks. And now, I wake up after the New Year with 17k!!! I'm so happy that something I animated was seen by so many people. Genuinely not used to it. It made me wish I put more time into the Midna Waiting on You project. Thank you to everyone who decided to like and comment. And the 150 who followed. I'm right now in the planning stage of something new. Might take a while, but I will try and not disappoint.
