Then why care about Giselle dancing to Usher when she did it a long time ago herself? I'm not defending her, never did. Right after you told me that she supports usher i unfollowed her and aespa immediately. Why do you not apply the same logic for bts then? Just because they're super rich men? So the whole situation changes? I think it's time we actually stop the double standards and stop being hypocrites #womenruntheworld

Here's a detailed timeline of Chris Brown's social hostility if you still think BTS supporting them is fine and forgiven

2009 — Assault of Rihanna (CONVICTION)
Chris Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault against Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years' probation, community labour and domestic-violence counselling, with a restraining order also imposed. The incident resulted in serious injuries to Rihanna.

2009 — Earlier incidents involving Rihanna (REPORTED)
A probation report documented two earlier violent incidents involving Brown and Rihanna before the February 2009 assault, including an incident in Europe and another in Barbados.

2011 — Good Morning America incident (DOCUMENTED)
During a Good Morning America interview, Brown became angry when questioned about the Rihanna assault. After the interview, he went backstage and smashed/punched a window before leaving the building.

2012 — Controversial tattoo (DISPUTED)
Brown got a neck tattoo depicting a woman's face that many people felt resembled the bruised face of Rihanna. The tattoo was widely criticized for this reason. Brown denied that it represented Rihanna or an abused woman, saying it was a Mexican sugar-skull/MAC Cosmetics-inspired design. Brown was accused by a woman of hitting her and taking her phone. Authorities did not ultimately bring charges because of insufficient evidence.

Brown was accused of attacking music producer Abraham Diaw at a London nightclub in 2023. In July 2026, Brown pleaded guilty to affray, admitting unlawful violence in connection with the confrontation. More serious assault charges were dropped as part of the plea.

2024 — Concertgoers' lawsuit (CIVIL ALLEGATIONS)
